Mangala Patil-Holt, DDS
Gentle Care for Beautiful, Healthy Smiles

Meet Dr. Patil-Holt

Inside the office

Dentistry is more than just my profession; it is my opportunity to help those throughout my community live longer, happier, and healthier lives. I am proud of the advancements that dentistry has made and provide only the newest, most innovative treatments to my patients. The care and compassion provided by myself and my team are rewarded by the appreciation of a satisfied, pain-free patient.

It is my true honor to create for my patients a beautiful, healthy, lasting smile with an exceptionally gentle touch and comfortable care founded on free and open communication.

Education and Continuing Education

I graduated from the Government Dental School in Bombay, India, with my Doctorate of Dental Surgery, and completed a recertification program at the University of California Los Angeles when I moved to the States. That was almost 31 years ago, and since then, many things have changed in the field of dentistry. We are now able to do so much more, and with such increased comfort, that many of my patients are no longer afraid of their dental appointments. I continually pursue advanced training to offer a wide range of the most up-to-date treatment options, completing major continuing education in the areas of endodontics, implant dentistry, and cosmetic dentistry, just to name a few.

Outside the Office

Born and raised in Bombay, India, I immigrated to the United States in 1976 and am now a proud US citizen. My husband, Steven Holt, is the retired editor of the Acorn newspaper. We have two grown children, Kevin and Katherine, and a dog and cat to keep us company at home. My free time is happily spent reading, traveling, exercising, and volunteering in my community. I am passionate about equal rights of women and helping women to advance in their careers.
